How Often Should I Clean My Septic Tank?
As part of your permit to use issued by the local council it would state that the system should be desludged every three years, the reason for this is that the septic tank is designed to hold back particles and solids in the tank and only let the waste water pass through the system. The Wastewater then enters your disposal field these are called absorption drains or abby drains, over the period of the three years the solid build up and should be removed.
If you do not remove the solids from the tank they will start to be flushed from the tank and make their way to the aggy drains, overtime they will start to clog the lines and once these lines are blocked you cannot repair them you have install a new set of lines. This can be very expensive, in fact starting at about $3,000 depending on the length of the lines you have install. That is why you should have your septic tank cleaned regularly.
Here at All Septic Waste we will clean your tank for you and let you know when you would need your tank cleaned again so that you do not have to worry about the schedule for your septic tank.
